According to the Toledo Lucas County Health Department:

"Changes in the Food Facility rules of the Ohio Revised Code 3717-1-02.4 (A)(2) now require all Class 3 & 4 food facilities to have at least one employee who has supervisory and management responsibility, and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service to obtain the level two certification in food protection by March 1, 2017."

ServSafe Level 2 Manager certification not only keeps current managers in compliance with the new law, but it also makes food service workers more hire-able and job-ready for management positions.

Foodology offers test proctoring on-site, but requires that you are first:

a.) already certified and need to renew your Level 2 certification (your current certification cannot be expired).

OR

b.) have never been certified or for those that have had their certification expire. You must first complete the online training course and can then sign up for a certification test at Foodology.
